Salesforce Technical Lead

Position Description

Saltbox Mgmt is seeking a motivated remote Salesforce Technical Lead to join our team in Mexico or Pakistan.

Position Description:  

The Salesforce Technical Lead plays a critical role in the Saltbox delivery model, working closely with the project team and client stakeholders in the development, implementation and launch of a solution that meets or exceeds client expectations. Serving as a development leader and mentor, promoting best coding practices, removing obstacles, and actively contributing to development efforts. Successful individuals will be able to effectively operate in a fast-paced environment, have strong time management, communication and critical thinking skills in combination deep salesforce custom development expertise to drive the success of their projects from beginning to end.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead nearshore and offshore development teams to ensure successful delivery of technical aspects of complex engagements.
  • Mentor less experienced technical team members to enable their growth and success.
  • Prepare for and manage deployments using Repositories, CI/CD, Changesets, Ant scripts, and IDE-based deployment tools.
  • Develop APEX classes, triggers, unit tests, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components to support application build.
  • Design and implement data structure, flows, processes, and declarative set-up.
  • Assist in solutioning, estimating, and shaping technical solutions.
  • Contribute to internal code-base and standards.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • 5+ years development experience within the Salesforce ecosystem
  • 2+ years of experience leading and/or managing a team of developers 
  • Experience in managing and owning the DevOps lifecycle of a Salesforce project
  • Experience in programming fundamentals including, object-oriented programming, relational database design, web services, technical writing, and documentation.
  • Experience writing Apex controllers, unit tests, and triggers.
  • Experience working with Apex REST/SOAP API integrations
  • Familiarity with user interface development principles and experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS, a plus.
  • At least 2 Salesforce certifications, to include: App Builder, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, CPQ, B2B Commerce, or Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience in developing / collaborating within an agile framework
  • Fluent in english (written and verbal)
